iBuyTix – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how iTIX NOW, LLC ("we," "our," "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use iBuyTix (the "Service"). By using iBuyTix, you agree to the practices described here.

1. One account with iTIX NOW

iBuyTix is run by the same company as iTIX NOW and uses the same account system. If you already have an iTIX NOW account you can sign in with it, and an account you create on iBuyTix also works on iTIX NOW. Signing up on iBuyTix does not sign you up for iTIX NOW marketing.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details you give us: name, email address and mobile phone number (verified by code).
  • Details of the tickets you ask us to buy: event, ticket platform, section, row, seats, quantity and any notes.
  • Offer and sale records: offers made, accepted or declined, transfers and payments.
  • Your payout details: your Venmo username or PayPal email or phone.
  • Messages you send us, and basic technical data (such as device and log information) needed to run the Service.

3. How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and verify your email and phone.
  • To price your tickets, send you offers, receive your tickets and pay you.
  • To send transactional texts and emails about your requests, offers, transfers and payments.
  • To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service and keep records the law requires.

4. Text messages

We text the verified number on your account about your requests, offers, transfers and payments. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or email support@ibuytix.com. Your mobile number and text consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:

  • With service providers that help us operate it (hosting, database, email and text messaging), under confidentiality obligations.
  • With Venmo or PayPal, to the extent needed to send your payment.
  • With a ticket platform, payment provider or law enforcement when needed to investigate fraud, recover a payment or comply with the law.

We never share your contact details with the people who later buy tickets from us.

6. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service, keep transaction and tax records, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

7. Your choices

  • Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
  • Ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or close your account, by emailing support@ibuytix.com. We may keep records of completed sales where the law requires.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

iBuyTix is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions are posted here with a new "last updated" date.
